Lately, I have been obsessing over this colder weather. It’s amazing to feel like we are finally nearing towards the holiday season, even though Texas weather has been bipolar, I have recently begun brainstorming how to make my apartment more cozy for the climate change. We all know how much I adore interior design, so I am so excited to share my picks for making your home even more cozy for winter. The good news is that you really do not have to overspend to make minor tweaks in your home design to get prepped for the holidays.
Nothing makes a home more cozy than a burning candle. Candles are definitely one of my favorite fall home decor items, because they are such a simple way to make living spaces more inviting and elevated. Even if you don’t have a fireplace, candles can make your home feel like you do!
As the temperature drops, it is definitely nearing time to start thinking about adding more throw blankets onto our beds and recliners; they are just so amazing to snuggle up in after a long day. In particular, I ten to lean towards fur(faux of course) or a chunky knit, because of the warmth and visual appeal of them.
Since it’s much more enticing to stay in than go out as the weather gets colder, it’s good to think about adding some festive throw pillows to make staying in more cozy and comfortable.
