For many people, under-eye baggage is genetically adopted, thus there is unfortunately no permanent cure. However, there are amazing eye serums in the beauty world that will aid you in your journey to tighten and brighten up those bags. Typically, when it comes to dark circles, there is really only so much you can do-and it will get worse and worse with age and lack of sleep. However, there is also an agent in beer as well as sodium that worsens the symptoms of your eye bags so do attempt to avoid both!

In my findings many products relied on caffeine as a skin-tightening chemistry, but they yield only a temporary fix, whilst the newer products containing retinol and a slew of acids are given the ability to deliver more long-lasting results. But here’s the other thing about my new fave eye serum products: I will still keep using them, even if I’m the only one that ever notices, because prevention is key!

Verso Super Eye Serum: Everyone should know that vitamins are our best friends, but in recent times, we’ve discovered that vitamin A is our skin’s best friend. Utilizing what this Swedish company calls “retinol 8”, a proprietary formula of vitamin A that is allegedly 8x more effective than regular retinol, this serum strongly encourages new collagen production.

Tatcha Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Eye Serum: Tatcha is known for their signature anti-aging blend that features green tea(to reduce puffiness), Okinawa red algae(to combat fine lines and wrinkles), and rice bran(to restore and protect delicate skin around the eyes). The fast-absorbing serum is released through a ceramic applicator that cools and calms the skin. It is lightweight enough to be worn under makeup or as a refreshing boost when makeup-free.

Dr. Dennis Gross Ferulic+Retinol Triple Correction Eye Serum: This highly coveted skincare line’s eye serum packs the punch of retinol WITH ferulic acid, an acid with strong antioxidant properties derived from the seeds of apples and oranges. Throw in a bit of licorice root extract to brighten the dark circles, and this popular serum completely delivers when it comes to reducing puffiness and wrinkles.

Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum: Retinol powers this amazing eye serum that targets wrinkles and “crow’s feet”. The formula’s nutrient-rich marine kelp complex brightens dark circles and tightens the area to lift and revitalize eyes. You will begin noticing a visible minimization of key signs of aging as quickly as one week.

Hylamide SubQ Eyes:  If you are in the market for a product that will target nearly every problem that you can think of, from crow’s-feet to dark circles, look no further than the Hylamide eye serum. Housed in this tiny dropper bottle are some powerful ingredients like a peptide complex to reduce the look of lines around the eyes as well as  flavonoid glucoside bio-active to reduce visible darkness under the eyes.

Drunk Elephant Shaba Complex Eye Serum: Drunk Elephant has built an amazing reputation for itself by creating products that don’t utilize any “unnecessary ” ingredients; nothing to make it smell or appear any prettier than it already is. Meaning the black tea ferment, edelweiss stem cell culture, and sea buckthorn oil are all doing immense work to shrink your wrinkles, reduce redness, and improve radiance.
