The 90s are officially back, fashion-wise at least. Once again, Logo-mania has become the top trends and for good reason; perhaps its the basic Asian in me to obsessed with excessively large and in your face logos for basic ho*s to know that your big is designer. I can attest to the fact that most people want others to know that their pieces are high end so they tend to gravitate towards garments with the big logo(Gucci and Hermes belts) or just plain monogram(LV Neverfull).
Logo-mania is making a slow but sure comeback because designers were struggling to sell their RTW and handbags to the markets where normal pedestrians would not tell the difference between and Chanel piece and a Walmart piece. That, of course, caused a huge problem for them as well their consumers. With much simpler garments, who can tell if your white t-shirt is designer or not? The solution that fashion found is easy to guess: moving the clothing label from the inside to the outside, without any explanation required. Attached are photos of the best “Logo-mania” looks from the past seasons.
