Well, it seems like September completely flashed by, because it was such a busy month. I feel like it’s the month that never actually happened, because it went by so fast I don’t even realize it! Whether it be back to school, focusing on work after your summer vacations, or if you are like me and starting a new journey, it is constantly so productive. No complaints here, it was just a fast-paced month! With life happening full force I was limited on time to do anything actually interesting.. but I had a few things that crossed my path that I thought I would share!

Soylent Shake

After a long debate on whether or not to even try this meal-replacement shake, I finally decided to simply bite the ball and attempt to try it. Not only is it super filling, it contains 40% of the daily suggested protein and only in 400 calories. It is definitely not my recommendation to have it as a complete diet, but for those of you who are unable to sit down for a meal all the time, it is an amazing option and will keep you full!

The Founder’s Dilemmas

One of my favorite books I have read in a long time, not only does it provide guidelines, tips, and tricks from several successful entrepreneurs but it also provides in depth details on their experiences. The title itself does the book justice, in a sense of proper english because you can learn to anticipate the pitfalls and the positive signs of your startup business.

Laura Mercier Glow Powder

Laura Mercier is one of everyones top brands for their tinted moisturizer as well as their setting powder and I do find that to be for good reason. Recently, they have dropped a “glow” line for their world-famous powder which is the same formulation just with glitter for a slight glow. I enjoy this, because it almost appears to be a brushed highlight on the skin, especially if applied on the cheekbones and nose bridge but you can also still use it to bake your concealers.

Simple Human Trash Can

Although it may be odd to add a trash can on this list, I do believe this trash can is an amazing accent piece no matter what theme your home is in. The attached link, is one with advanced sensory and will open to hand motion, however there are some with foot press to open the lid. They are super easy to keep clean, and fit most basic trash bags!

 Nexxus Repair Conditioner

For those of you who suffer from heat damage and its eventual repercussions, this is an amazing chemistry for damaged hair. Not only will it repair and soften the ends of your hair, but it will also restore the protein that is stripped from your hair from heat and sun damage. Additionally, if you have any type of skin abnormalities, the black rice will help heal any form of skin dermatitis that the conditioner is in contact with.

Apple Bacon Dog Treats

Probably one of my baby Kai’s favorite treats in the world, the day I got him I splurged on several different types of treats and these are his absolute favorite. They are soft baked as to not injure the teeth of smaller puppies, and have an amazing bacon flavor mixed with the sweetness of apples. They do also have nutritional substance, but they are only recommended to be use to pair with your dog’s regular food(I PREFER MERRICK BECAUSE IT IS GRAIN FREE!).

Balmain Blazer

There is nothing better in a fashion icon’s wardrobe than an amazing blazer. I have spoken about the need for a good blazer in everyone wardrobe, because not only will you wear it for an interview/listing/meeting but you can wear it to dress up for a date or lunch with the girls. Balmain has been well known for their blazers and collaborations with affordable brands like H&M but the detailing of the buttons on their blazers has always spoken to me on such a spiritual level. One season, they had this AMAZING rose gold toned blazer and ever since then, I have been hooked!
