Fall season has officially arrived, and it’s now time to begin planning to switch up our beauty routines to compensate for the harsh weather. I know that for myself, as the weather gets colder, I find that my skin needs more moisturizing and exfoliation products, because the fall and winter can be extremely drying. There are plenty of products to choose from, so I decided to craft a little guide of my fall skincare must-haves. Also, I find that it’s worth it to invest in products that use superior ingredients and that don’t have harsh chemicals. Enjoy!
This is at the top of my list for many reasons, not only is it the best way to properly cleanse your skin because of its deep cleansing opportunities but it will also gently exfoliate your skin. The only disclaimer I have for those of you who are lazy, like myself, is that you should switch the brush head at least every 3 months to maintain the fresh bristles.
This product is amazing year round, because it will double as a second “cleanser” to be utilized after your first cleanse. Additionally, it is actually quite moisturizing, because it features lavender and rose water with orange extract. It does also have slight exfoliation in the formulation with papaya extract.
My favorite moisturizer, aside from Kiehl’s because it is utilized as a type of facial lotion. It is brightening and super lightweight but still maintaining its hydrating qualities. Once you get over the steep price point, it is definitely worth the investments because it has lasted me FOREVER.
Water is one of the best “skincare” products to keep in mind during the fall season, because of its hydration. I love the infusion bottle, because not only will it give your water more flavor but you will also have the cleansing and hydrating properties of the lemon.
Kiss goodbye to lip balm forever, because once you utilize this life changing product, you will never need it ever again. Apply a thick layer of this golden formula on your lips and sleep with it on and once you wake up and wash it off, your lips will be baby soft!
