As often as I love to purchase and try out new beauty and skincare products, the ones that create a huge buzz do not always work for everyone ( La Mer Moisturizer). When it comes to skincare, we need to put forth the effort to find the products that are beneficial towards to our own skin type. Typically, choosing a product that you will see all over the Instagram, has created traction that will not last long; today I am talking to you about the products that have not only worked for myself, but also for a large majority of my peers.

Cleanser |iS Clinical Cleanser|
This has been the absolute BEST cleanser I have ever used by far; as someone who has struggled with chronic acne since I was 13, I have been desperate to try any type of formulation for acne. Amongst entire formulation systems, like ProActiv and Rodan+Fields, nothing has been able to do the trick. Though the price may be steep, I use the product 2x daily and it lasts me roughly 2 months. Not only has it cleared up my skin and prevented upcoming breakouts, there is also Vitamins A and E that will add moisture to the skin and reduce redness.
Moisturizer |Kiehl’s Facial Cream |
This has made a huge impact within my skincare routine, after suffering with dry patchy skin on my nose from the extreme heat and cold of Texas. The formulation is incredibly lightweight and buildable. The formulation does have SPF in the formula, to protect your skin from the UV Rays!
Hydrating Face Mask |Jet Lag Mask |
The newest cult classic, an absolute must-have. I am OBSESSED with Marianna Hewitt, so the moment I heard that she was launching a product I had to have it. Not only is it paraben and sulfate free, it also includes chestnut extract to lightly exfoliate the skin. You can either use it as a mask overnight or as a hydrating primer before applying your makeup.
Cleansing MudMask |GlamGlow Cleansing SuperMud |
GlamGlow has become one of the best-selling skincare companies and for good reason. Not only do they have clean formulation but the masks are also very quick to dry so it speeds up the extracting process! Another amazing product of theirs is their exfoliating mask.
Acne Spots |Mario Badescu Drying Lotion|
For those of you who suffer from acne, this is going to be in your holy grail. For a product that retails for only $17, it is definitely an amazing investment. Apply it with a q-tip, let it settle overnight, and it dries up and shrinks the pimple without any scarring.
Facial Sprays |Mario Badescu Rose Water + Green Tea/Aloe |
I completely adore this company’s product catalogue, but by far the Rosewater and Aloe sprays are the best. In my experience, the aloe spray works beneficially for hydration before applying makeup. The rosewater is definitely amazing as a makeup setting spray, or even to refresh your makeup after a long sweaty day.
Balm.COM | Balm Dot Com|
Glossier has quickly become one of the best discussed indie brands, simply because of their Balm Dot Com and their BoyBrow. The Balm Dot Com is amazing on lips, elbows, and even as a light shimmer on the cheekbones for a subtle and natural-looking glow.
